Boca Grand Fishing for Inshore Slam

If you're an inshore fisherman, then an inshore slam is your goal every time you go fishing. Catching a redfish, snook and trout is the holy grail of fishing the flats. Capt Blair Wiggins headed south to Tarpon Lodge in Bokelia to try for an inshore slam fishing with Capt Eric Wrenn . The morning started off fast with tailing redfish which made it easy to cast to the spooky redfish. Couple twitches of the rod and the keeper sized redfish was on. Shortly after, Capt Blair hooked up to a trout on the flats and it all came down to the snook. Snook were finicky. We saw some monster fish but they didn't want the Mogan Man's DOA lures. Grand Slam - Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit

Conch Tales Part 2 is the most epic day of flats fishing we've ever had! Capt Blair Wiggins heads out from Key West harbor with Capt Brandon Cyr in search of a "Grand Slam". Catching a tarpon, bonefish and permit all in one day is a difficult tasks not on television, but we had the cameras rolling and captured one of our best episodes ever. Up first was the tarpon, the silver king is one of the toughest fish to get to the boat. After Capt Blair got one to the boat, it was time to pole the flats in search of the grey ghost - the bonefish. Capt Cyr spotted one immediately, and the fight was on. What a drag screamer! If you are lucky enough to land one of the fastest fish on the flats, to get the slam you need to catch a permit. They have the biggest eyeballs on the flats and are very wary fish. Fishing Winter Bites

Fishing in the winter can be tough. Mother nature is unpredictable when you're trying to shoot a TV show. This episode is similar to our "Bits & Bites" episodes. Sometime we don't catch enough fish to make an episode, so instead of leaving the footage out, Producerman creates a compilation episode. This episode is just that. A compilation of wintertime fishing segments in an episode we're calling "Winter Bites". The episode starts with grouper fishing in Homosassa with Capt Chris Wilkins, backcountry snook fishing in Marco Island, and ends with sheepshead fishing in New Smyrna Beach. St Petersburg Florida Tarpon Fishing

Summertime means tarpon in Tampa Bay. Capt Chris Camps phoned Producerman and said the tarpon are at Egmont Key. We got the crew together for a quick one day shoot and it was on. Headed out of Maximo Marina in St. Petersburg and right to the pier to catch bait. Capt Blair throws the cast net two times, and they have enough bait to start fishing. We head over to Egmont Key. Notice a few boats idling around but no one is catching anything, so we motor right into the drop-off by shore and see fish on the Humminbird. The Captains scramble to rig up rods and get baits on hooks. We notice a few boats have recognized the Mogan Man and begin to move in our spot. That is when the monster hit! Capt Chris is not ready but gets a strong hookup on a monster tarpon. For the next hour, the behemoth pulls the 24' Skeeter bay boat around the flats while boats look on. The fish was a monster! We end the day snook fishing on the beach just off of Ft. Desoto and end

Mosquito Lagoon Seatrout and Redfish

Mosquito Lagoon is one of those places where if the fish aren't biting in one spot, move to another one and it could turn on. We were fishing with a good friend, Capt Jon Lulay . Jon was our first camera boat driver back in the beginning, so it was about time to put him in front of the camera. Jon has become one of the top sight fishing guides for trout in Mosquito Lagoon. He wanted to start in the southern part of the Lagoon where he had caught fish the day before. Unfortunately, the wind had other plans. It was tough to see anything or sight cast to fish for that matter. We caught a small redfish but the conditions weren't improving. I suggested we move North to one of my secret spots, and it payed off big. As we were coming into the flat, I saw a large shadow off to my right. If this was a trout, it was a mogan. I flipped out my DOA CAL paddletail and she ate it. The biggest speckled seatrout I've hooked in years on the Space Coast. The fight was on. The adrenaline rush
