Salty Surprise!

Remember Capt. Tony Melton? We fished with him last season for the episode "Melton Drags" and caught some nice triple tail and shark. Had a blast, and knew we'd be fishing again with him someday. Well that someday was a couple of weeks back, and we get to show you in this week's episode "Salty Surprise." This episode is the outcome of a day well-spent on the water with Capt. Tony once again.

Check out "Salty Surprise" on Fox Sports Sun Friday morning at 9 a.m. (ET). We're catching a little bit of everything, surprised by a couple of hook ups too. If you miss it tomorrow morning, then catch the replay on Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. and again Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. If you don't get Fox Sports Sun on your TV, catch it on our YouTube channel Mondays at 7 p.m. (ET) . . . Mr. Producerman gets it up there for y'all to watch, every Monday at 7 p.m.

We just wrapped another AF Live Webisode last Monday evening. Got to show y'all a sneak peak of some upcoming episodes as well as a bonus look behind the scenes of how we score all the music for AF. The Mogan Music Boys have been knocking it out of the park and scoring every episode for 15 years now - whatever sound we need, wherever we go, they bring that extra something special and local sound to each fish fight. Thanks guys . . . you rock!! Click here for that look behind the Mogan Music Boys in action.

Just saw some of the footage from our Star Brite / Beavertail trip to Key West, Marquesas and the Tortugas, WOW! My crew killed it on this trip, our special guests and captains killed it too. Can't wait to bring you those episodes! First trip out for my Beavertail Vengeance and I must say . . . where have you been all my life?!! The quietest skiff I have EVER fished from. Caught a tarpon on a fly and that fish ate about 3 feet from the boat. Only happens like that when you're quiet and we have the proof! Special thanks to Beavertail, Star Brite, Capt. Pete Dornau, Greg Dornau, Capt. Kevin Cote, Capt. Chris Trosset, Capt. Jared Cyr, Peterson Trailers and my crew. Way to getterdun!!

Until next week . . . tight lines,
Blair
