Batter Up!

Shooting this next episode coming up was a lot of fun.  Once again back in my home waters on the Space Coast, and fishing with Capt. Jamie Glasner.  My mom was the one who originally suggested we shoot a show with Jamie, last year.  Jamie worked at her local Publix and she got to know him by going there shopping all the time.  He found out who she was and then kept bugging her to ask me to put him on the show.  We finally did (last year), and had so much fun that we did it again this year.  We were hoping to head out for cobia, but the weather and wind moved in, but lucky for us so did the sargasm weed and triple tail.  Don’t miss this week’s episode  "Triple Play" on Fox Sun Sports (Friday, 10:30 a.m. ET / Sunday 9:30 p.m. ET / Tuesday 6:00 a.m. ET).

I’ll be on the Treasure Coast next week filming with one of my favorite people to fish with, Sam Heaton from Johnson Outdoors.  Sam’s going to be showing me the in’s and out’s of the new Humminbird 360.  This takes Side Imaging and Down Imaging to a whole new level.  Humminbird’s new technology lets fisherman see 360 degrees around their boat in HD.  Pretty cool stuff! Can’t wait to check it out with Sam on board, catch some fish and show you.  After that, me and the crew will be heading up to Florida’s Wilderness Coast to see what’s biting.  Did I mention how much I love my job?

I told y’all about the “Show Your Mogan” photo contest in my last blog . . . well, I’m impressed.  We’ve gotten over 200 photo entries on Facebook and Instagram in less than a week.  Y’all have been out there fishing lately!  Keep ‘em coming.  We pick the first winner next week, so make sure you get your photos in.  Win lots of cool fishing stuff like Mogan Series Mirrolures, Seaguar Flourocarbon, FINS Braid, Lazer Sharp Hooks, hats, visors and more!  Here’s how you enter the “Show Your Mogan” photo contest:  Facebook users must submit their photo within the “Show Your Mogan” photo contest Event Page. Instagram users must upload photos with hashtag: #showyourmogan

I’ve gotta keep this week’s blog short . . . I’m heading out on Tampa Bay right now with Mr. Producerman to shoot some web videos.  Keep connected online and check out the new video tips we’ve got coming up on the FlatsBlue rods, Mogan Spoons, Trokarhooks, and Minn Kota Talon.  We get a lot of questions, so the best way I know how to answer is to show ya! Thanks for watching the show and thanks for all your emails, FB posts and for supporting our sponsors.  Mogan Maniacs rock!

Until next week . . . tight lines,
Capt. Blair Wiggins
