Grouper Man

Homosassa Gag Grouper

This week's episode I'm fishing in Homosassa with Capt. Chris Wilkins. He takes me into the rock piles for shallow water grouper. What a blast! Good thing I was rigged up with my new Seaguar Smackdown braid and of course, my Seaguar fluorocarbon because these rock piles were not easy. The fight was worth it though - just look at how cool that grouper is!! Definitely will do it again. Oh, and just to fill y'all in on how much I like the new Seaguar braid . . . it's strength and cast-ability is pretty impressive. On this episode you'll really get to see it with your own eyes.

Capt Blair Wiggins Gag Grouper

We stayed at a new place this time while in Homosassa, it was right on the river and a perfect spot to launch the boat, come in after a long day of fishing, have a cold beer and chill out. The place I'm talking about is MacRae's of Homosassa. It's a family owned place right on the water and we've been back twice since. If you happen to stay there, let 'em know you saw 'em on this episode!

Tune in tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., Sunday at 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. on Fox Sun Sports for this week's episode - "Grouper Man." If you missed last week's episode remember you can always watch online on our YouTube channel. Mr. Producerman has put full length episodes up there for you and the new episodes are uploaded on Mondays. So make sure you're subscribed, tell your friends and share the AF YouTube channel. Check out last week's episode "Bulls on the Neuse" up there now!

I'm heading over to Tampa to meet up with Producer Sam to get some of our Rig it Rights shot at Dick's in Wesley Chapel (this is kind of our home-base Dick's store that we shoot at a lot). We've got more episodes in the can and more coming up on the schedule to shoot, so I'm on the road a lot these days.

Skeeter SX 240 Bay Boat

I'll be up in Tallahassee over the week of the 20th. Stop in to see me at Dick's Sporting Goods on Thursday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m. I'm kicking off the tournament weekend for "Rock the Dock"  with my Inshore Seminar Series at 7:00 p.m. Sounds like a great time to me, and lots of boats fishing it. Thursday if you join us, you can win Dick's gift cards to do some shopping and I'm giving away a couple pair of Costa Sunglasses that night. Friday the 24th is the Captains' meeting, Happy Hour starts at 5:30 p.m., and dinner at 6:00 p.m. You can still register at the Captains meeting or do it now online. Lots of cash prizes and you can even win a 2015 Skeeter SX200 Bay Boat (with Yamaha F115).

Y'all have a great weekend!

Until next week . . . tight lines,
Blair
