This week we’re running episode #4
again for y’all . . . “Airheads.” This is that episode we shot early in the
season when the wind was
howling, the conditions were rough, and I’m throwing this new DOA lure called
the Airhead. It looks beautiful in the
water, but I’ve never used it before so don’t know how it’s going to
work. On top of that, we were seeing tons of big snook, but they just
wouldn’t eat. All of these factors made Mr. Producerman a little nervous we weren’t going to get a show. It was
just about then, I hooked a trout, landed it and the thing chomps down on my
thumb. I know you’ve heard me say it before, but “if I’m bleeding first
thing in the morning . . . it’s gonna be a good day!” The very same day, I a Mirrodine wedged right into the top of my thumb, so by now
I’m thinking - it better be a GREAT day. And it was. On the last cast of the day, I hook into 10lb
trout. That’s definitely a first on Addictive Fishing - a 10 lb
