Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I don’t know what’s more
exciting; ICAST in Orlando or all of the Mogans to choose from for Mogan of the
Week! Mr. Producer announced a photo contest in the Mogan Lounge when we get
back from ICAST. The summer is usually pretty slow but AF is kicking it up a notch!
ICAST
The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades
is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show which showcases the latest
innovations. This is where the newest gadgets and gizmos are introduced to the
distributors and retailers before they are released into the public and really
create a stir for us folks that frequent the tackle shops. What’s new? When is
it going be on the shelf? The Addictive Fishing crew will be covering the show
from entrance to exit to get the scoop from all of our current sponsors and
scoping out products of potential new AF family members. This time of year is
always very exciting and we will be sharing all the insider info with you
through the next couple of weeks in the Mogan Blog.

Mogan of the Week
Barracuda, redfish and snook … oh my! We are not in Nebraska anymore and
these aren’t your every day displays either. The Mogans are pouring in this
week! After great deliberation and a few dart tosses, we finally selected Joe
Muench from Cocoa, Florida with his 39” redfish. Joe wrestled
this Mogan in using a 7’2” Flats Blue rod. Rock on, Joe! That’s a summer
slobberknocker if I’ve ever seen one!
