We just put a wrap on our 2017 season this morning. I was filming in the middle of a cluttered and under-remodel studio, but I didn't mind one bit because we've got some pretty cool and exciting things coming up for 2018! First of all, I will finally have one place where I can hang all of my fish, deer and turkey mounts, and display all of my tournament trophies. I've worked very hard over the years for each and every accolade I've achieved and I'm proud to be putting it all together in my new Tackle Den. We'll be filming parts of the 2018 episodes in the tackle den next season, showing you new product, rod rigging, line spooling and lure demos. It'll be just the kind of information you'll need to go out on the water and catch your next mogan.
Can't wait to share the new product we've got coming out too! As I say in my closing lines of this year's season finale, I'm so very thankful to have the sponsors that we do for Addictive Fishing because I believe them to be the best in the industry. I've been working with one of those sponsors all year long to bring you another great product. Can't say too much yet, but when it's time . . . I'll be shouting it from the hilltops!
Fall is a great time of year . . . the season wraps for us here at AF and we all get a quick break to either go hunting (me) or hiking (Producerman), or whatever we need to do to recharge. BUT, Fall is also a great time to buy a boat! Skeeter has a nice deal running until October 14th that can save you some money on your next boat. Check them out, kick the tires and take a wet test and you'll see why I run a Skeeter.
If you're in the market for a new skiff . . . send me an email because our Beavertail Vengeance skiffs are on the market! We've got to make room for 2 more coming soon. Both of my Vengeance skiffs have very low hours on them and they are loaded with the best. The driest and smoothest skiff I've ever been in and if you're in the market, let me know!
From all of us here at Addictive Fishing, we send Texas and Louisiana all of our best! Growing up in Florida, we certainly know what you're going through and we pray for your safety and success in overcoming the effects of Hurricane Harvey. We look forward to coming back out to Texas and Louisiana again soon.
Until next week . . . tight lines,
