When I press the switch to put down the Power-Pole, it sounds kind of dry...It makes a little bit of noise, and I am wondering if there is anyway to make it quieter or what?  Should I spray WD-40 all over it or is this normal?  Anything would be appreciated, Thanks.

Mine does the same thing sometime I put some reel lube on it and it seems to help.. not sure what the actual maintanence procedure is. If anyone does know, fill us in please.

I once had a bad day of fishing, but it was still great!
