this post is for people that fish in the indian river, banana river, mosquito lagoon, and cape canaveral

i dont know what the proablem is but latley i have not been catching any fish.

went out today in the banana river, fished around thousand island, the locks, around bridges, and around other islands but couldnt find any fish, or mullet. the only fish i seen today was a 40-50 inch red sitting on the bank but he wouldnt eat.

so this is my question, WHERE ARE THE FISH!?!?!?!

What time of the day are you fishing ?

With the water Temp being so low,Start Later in the day,Look for the Darker Bottom Grass Flats early, then work up near the shore later in the day.........Work lures like Shrimp and Crab Patterns very slow

If you can find a Lady-Fish,cut a Chunk off,put it on a Hook, and toss it in front of that Picky Red.....and see what happen`s

I fished mostly in the Sebastian River today(some in the Indian River canals) and caught 10 snook and 4 jacks with my friends.  We had a blast!  I think the weather made the snook eat.  We used Menhaden Shad and Finger mullet.  Good luck man, this wind has been a pain.

im using a 6 ft. ugly stick with a cardinal reel

20 lb power pro

some times i use weights some times i dont, depends on depth of water

use live shrimp and mullet until they die then i peel the shell off the shrimp and try for littler fish for bait

use cut lady fish and mullet

for luers i use gulp, doa (until a puffer destroyed them), skitterwalks

i usuially see people catching trout, whiting, and small reds under slot to slot size

for fishing in hc, when is the best time? morning - mid day - or at night?

i have no clue what im doing wrong

If you see people catching fish,go down and look....see what they are useing for Bait or Lure,What size Weight,What General Area they are tossing thier Bait`s...In Close to shore or Out in the Middle,What Retrive Speed they are useing and try to match what they are doing because they are catching fish........Use your Eye`s First !

hmmmm the water is gettin colder but reds will still eat look for muddy bottow/water it warms up quicker and ............................................. and during winter fish would rather eat a larger figer mullet than a small shrimp beacuse it has more calories and they want the most bang for their buck beacuse they don't want to wast energy(calories).......try the catch 2000 by mirror lure it is suprisingly good...
