| | I was curious to see what kind of hooks, set up, people use when fishing w\ jerk baits and shrimp?(plastics) I would like to hear from as many of you as possible and maybe a short why you like that set up or type hook. Thanks alot , C74 |

| i use worm hooks or jig heads for jerk bais and either a j hook a or a jig head for shrimp what kind of i use only gamakatsu

| I like hooks with a small belly weight and a keeper (looks like a little spring coming off the eye of the hook) for the jerk bait. That way you can rig the plastic weedless and the small weight gives wonderful action to the bait. It does take away a little bit of the skip you can get when side casting under docks or mangroves, but with some practice you can make up for it.

| | How about Lazer Sharp hooks? I'm kinda partial to those.  Has anyone tried the hook kit yet? It's got pinch weights in them for the jerkbait hooks. Lots of hooks for the price too. |

| | thanks for all the info i have been using bayou bucks w\ the keeper on it but i don't like how the weight is fixed on the hook. I like the idea of a good hook w\ a weight you can add to the shank in the place of your choosing. once again thanks for all the info!!!!!!!! Tight Lines, C74 |
