Here down at South Texas i usually fish under a bridge when the current is going out into the bay where i tend to see alot of snook. What type of lure can I use and what colors are the best to use?  Two weeks ago I used a purple chartuse color and that worked but i need something more effective also besides live mullet?

Thanks,

Gusano53

The D.O.A terror eyes works great.  A lot of the doa stuff will work the shrimp, baitbuster, etc.  I have heard great stuff about the rapala x-rap..give it a try- Good luck to ya man!

I'll second the DOA stuff. The terroreyez is a great lure, especially for bridges. Bounce it along the bottom or just let it sit in the current. Being that there is lots of current, go with the 3/8 ounce or heavier jig head in the terroreyez.

Rapala X-Raps look killer, but my luck with them has been very limited.

I once had a bad day of fishing, but it was still great!

If you can see the Snook, can you see what they are feeding on ?

If they are hitting Glass-Minnow`s or Piltrid`s,try a Small Jig with the same color`s......Silver,Black,Green

If they are hitting Shrimp or Crab`s......try DOA Shrimp or Gulp Crab.......New Penny,Rootbeer, and Glow

Good Luck,I`d like to see a Texas Snook
