| | My friend has a lipper rod and it seems very nice, but are they really that nice? Are they "unbreakable"? If anyone has any info on these rods, please let me know, thanks Practice CPR (Catch-Photo-Release)

| I am not sure how nice they are or how heavy they are but I did run across one in the newest finest tackle catalog. The name of the rod is Evolution made by Lipper tools, Inc. They are made of a neo-carbon, they say a revolutionary new material comprised of high quality graphite and a space-age bonding agent. Looks like they have both an inshore model and an offshore one. They make two lengths 6'6" and 7' and run $100.00/ea. So if your friend has one how heavy are they? Cosmetically the do look a whole lot better than an ugly stick and cost a whole lot more. |

| | they arent that heavy, he just has a big reel on it..but he has a 7'6" medium action evolution, it seems very sturdy.....they seem like pretty nice rods...right in front of the cork grips, it isnt like thick, its pretty think..so it seems like it has some pull...hope this helps Practice CPR (Catch-Photo-Release)
