| | with the gulp shrimp should i use a jig head, or a weedles hook with pinch weight? and what size and type hook (if best method) and what size and type jig head? + how should i retrive this? is DOA better? |

| You ve got alot of options.... I like to fish the 4" shrimp on a mustad ultra point weighted hook with the keeper on it. Find a pot hole throw it in give it a little twitch and let it sit. Or if your sight fishing you could tail hook it on a 4/0 circle hook like it was a live shrimp.I also have fished the 3" shrimp on a jig head when I wanted to fish a little deeper or when there is no grass.

| | slot machine has made a very good point....i will agree with him on the circle hook. the only thing you have to remember is not to set the hook. |

| I have used to doa shrimp way more than the gulp....i love fishing the doa shrimp...just cast it out there and keep and slow but steady pace, use the rod tip to twitch it rapidly but still work the bait slow... twitch sink twitch...(i tend to like th doa better only because i havent used the gulp enough, and have never caught anything when i did use it...)

| | If its shallow and grassy use the Mustad Ultra point superlock, if your fishing potholes or a sand/mud bottom use a Misson Fishin jighead with the Gulp shrimp. Redfish cannot resist it. |
