| | All my life i have been hrowing a 6 foot cas net, and have been able to get it open all the way. I just purchased an 8 foot cast net. I have been practiceing everyday after school all this week. When i throw it it opens pretty much all the way wide but on length its only 4 or 5 feet open. When my dad threw it for the first time it opened all the way, a perfect cast. And that was his first time ever throwing a cast net. He throws it perfect every time. We are throwing the net the style that Calusa Cast nets shows you how in thier dvd (yea i got the dvd to learn how), not puting it over your shoulder. If anybody has any advice at all please help me! I am desperate to get this thing to open! |

| Try not to throw it too hard and make sure to make a full swing to get enough force to open the net fully

| | Download and watch this free online video by calusa cast nets and pay attention!... remember all of the details and follow along..i also have an 8ft net and could not open it, after the video however BAM! i opened it perfect on the 1st cast....just make sure that u twist ur body and dont throw too hard as spot remover said...twist ur arms and body in a circular motion and let it fly...
