| my dad just bought a new 17' key west flats boat. we have been to mosquito lagoon acoupple times but never find redfish. we have only spotted them once just past the train bridge heading to haulover. where can i find them and what do i do to get them to bite. i use rapala skitter walks, berkly gulp power baits, live mullet, and cut mullet.

| i sounds like you are in the indian river near mosquito lagoon..... if so try the black point flats all the way to haulover canal fish the deeper wather and keep your eyes peeled for big schools of breeder reds the have been there for several weeks in the lagoon try tiger shoals and the poll and troll zone look for tails and fish the spotted bottom for slot reds
