So I dragged it to the shop,cut the U Bolt`s and pulled out the Axle,and put it on the Bench to see how bad it was. After I cleaned the surface of it`s Galvenize coating to find all the rust area`s:

I find this ugly mess

Cracked in Three spot`s,on one end:

I`ve called all around,and the cheapest Replacement will be $130.00..........So I think I`ll use some Angle Iron I found around the shop to repair this one,...........i`ll take more Pic`s as I finish the repair`s that should hold up for a few more year`s

Didn`t have enough angle to do the whole Axle,but I`m still at $O.oo,and all the weight is near the tire

A quick fit:

Drill holes for linning pin :

Time to Weld :

Clean it up,and set it in on the Pin`s :

2 Can`s of Undercoating........$6.50

Undercoat the bottom of the Axle,then install New U-Bolts :

Then Undercoat Everything in sight with the last of the can :

Done ! :

 Had doctors all morning and a stoned wife from the anastiha And now I am workin OT tomorrow..cant pass up 35.00 an hour . so I dont know if I will ever get the boat up there
