me and my brother were fishin in tarpon city in naples were my uncle is a charter captain so if you ever go down there his charters are gone fishin on a mission well anyways me and my bro were sitting in tarpon city in are 14 foot john boat and all the sudden my brother hooks up on a nice tarpon about 165 pounds we were fightin him for about 1 hour and 30 minutes well when we thought he was done but all the sudden my brother lost balance and got pulled in the water but he didnt let go of the pole a matter or fact it pulled him about 10 yards so i cranked the boat up and got him when he got back in the boat the fish was right near the boat and my brother wanted to pull a scale so when he was doin this the tarpon slung his tale and hit me in the face knockin me in the water with a bloody nose a a cut lip hahaha. my brother got his scale and started to release the fish but when we realesed him i looked behind me and saw there was no pole so we were wonderin if when i fell in if it had fallen to but i looked behind me and saw a fishing pole getting draged across the water well what happen was my brother forgot to pull the hook out of the tarpon so after fightin him for a nother 30 minutes we decided to make sure we pulled the hook out this time and thats my story
