Big trout have been ambushing mullet tight to the shore throughout the Titusville area. Thick grass is opiled up along most shoreline so a weedless bait is necessary. A green or gold jerkbait with a weedless hook can be cast up onto the shore and brought silentyly back into the water without spooking the fish. Pole along the shorelines that are holding mullet and you will hear the big trout popping them throughout the day.

Ditto what Capt. Chris said!!  Last time I was out, a week ago, bait was pretty much everywhere I went and water is pretty high right now, be stealthly   Caught a couple in the 8lb range recently......  For me they're kind chewing on the exudes mostly the baby bass color!!

Some area's you might try are the Carbide Flats -west side north of the RR bridge all the way north or east side accross from the Scottsmore ramp.

Gonna give it try this Saturday and be home in time to watch the Auburn - LSU game..... WAR EAGLE!!!!!

Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!!!!
