| | i fish doa cal with the paddle tail,it wors best for me.but its not weedless so i pick up a lot of grasses and weeds and it affects the number of hits i get.i have fished with jerkbaits hooked weedless but i havent really had a lot of luck with it.is there another way to rig the paddle tails so that it is weedless?or should i use jerkbaits?what retrieve works best for jerkbaits.any help would be great |

| | Here is a picture of some weedless shrimp, paddle tails, and jerk baits. Just use your standard worm hook with a roll of solder if you want to add some weight.

| | If no companies make weedless jig heads you can probably easily make one by taking about an 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch long piece of light wire. Bend it in two and put the end opposite the loop into the eye if the jig head, twist it several times until tight, then put the end peice under the hook point.
