| The local paddle club, B.A.C.K. (Bay Area Canoe & Kayak) has their club meetings on the 3rd Tuesday every month and the weekend after they have a "Goomba Gathering". All paddlers are invited no matter if they are in the club or not. Today was a good day...
First stop this morning Sharon caught a scrappy lil red. Here is Sharon moments before having the lipper gripper yanked from her hand by the lil guy.
Naturally I took an early morning swim. The lipper gripper and the fish were recovered.
The fish was released...
Later in the morning Mike found a hookup to pull him around.
A nice 30" red amung all the rats.
We came back to the launch for some good food...
...good friends...
... and good fun.

| noway i didn't get skunked!
the 1st fish of the day was sharon's red on the lipper gripper. i caught it with my bare hands. also caught ratreds on a CAL shadtail, arkansas glo.
