| | I have a CMC and at first we had some problems with electrical with it that started a fire in our boat, and then me and a friend of mine had occasional problems with the dial on the console that lets you know if the plate is up or down not working. Now all seems to be fine, but CMC was great about replacing anything that was defective. As far as Bob's I have only hear positive things about it. A jack plate is definately a great idea. Any flats fisherman should have one.
I once had a bad day of fishing, but it was still great! CHB: the few, the proud, the chosen |

| | I would go with CMC, self contained, no hydraulic pump internal to your skiff. I have CMC and have not had any problems. Plus, I did not have to have the extra water ports drilled into my lower unit. Tight Lines, Fred |
