| Any boat that floats is a good boat. If you can afford it and you enjoy it, its a good deal. Heritage doesn't make that model anymore. The boat is 13'1" long and 29" wide. It weighs aprox 60lbs with a load cap of 250lbs. If you are planning to fish out of it, you may find that storage for gear to be a problem.

| i know nothing about the osprey itself but from heritage owners i have always heard good reports...
do you have a choice in what kayak to get? idf so paddle some different ones to see if you like one over another.. if you have no choice (i didnt) any yak is better than no yak

| | Ive never heard of a heritage osprey. All heritage yaks are great though, so it should be a good choice. |
