| | what type of reel does blair use? i am guessing he does not have a sponsor since i havent seen an ad, but i was just curious as to which reel he uses |

| | Blair used to use Fin-Nor but I do not think he does anymore. The company made some negative changes in my opinion. I am not sure what brand he is using now.

| | hey all...... I use to use the F/N stuff, but not any more. DOA hit the nail on the head with his post! For those of you who made it to MMV this year you got to see the rods we've been working on .......killers! We're working on reels now! Hopefully soon I can tell you the ones I like best. I have been using the colorado col-40 spinning reel by Eagle Claw. So far they are holding up to the punishment. It handled all those snook @ MMV. Here's a big question I would like to know...... How many of you out there actually use the anti reverse on a reel? Does anyone reel backwards on a fish? |

| | The only time I ever use the antireverse is when I want to geta live bait a little more leash..lol, But I have been using the eb30 by okuma for awhile now , that is designed for use with live bait , I still do it with the VS on occasion , but I never really seen the purpose for it either. No offence to your sponsors Captain, I love their hooks and use them exclusivly, but I`m afraid the old days of eagle claw (KMart ) reels are still embedded in the memory banks , and they would have to prove to me that they are worth buying JMO

| I use it when I put a hook in the keeper so the line doesn't get slack and let the hook attack me.

| That is a good question. Personally, I wish reverse was an option as in I wish you could by reels that are AWAYS anti reverse. It seems like this would be less parts and therefore better performance.
