| | Yeah, once I get my old work horse stradics working so I will have something to fish with, I will send the okuma's off. The 5 year warrenty is one of the reasons I bought them. Oh and I have thought about thatn voided warrenty thing. I saved the plastic piece so I can put it back in before sending it off. Speaking of red bones and sending off..... By my own fault I totally stepped on my medium light redbone rod tip and destroyed it. The cool thing is I can break the rod up into about 6 or 7 pieces, send it to red bone, and they will ups me a new one!
I once had a bad day of fishing, but it was still great! CHB: the few, the proud, the chosen |

| Same with Okuma. I caught the tip of one on the garage door. I called and was told to break it in half and send it back. In no time I had a shiny new one. Lifetime warranty on them.

| | Going on 3 years with my Okuma Epixor EB20 baitfeeder....and its still the first one I grab each time I go fishing. I did have to replace the crank handle, but after fishing it twice a week for 3 years, I don't mind. I might even take it apart and clean it......some day. chumhead

| Okuma addict here. well not really but I do love my okumas. I've got an Epixor EF30, Epixor EB 30, and an Epix EF50. only difference in the Epix and Epixor is the Epix is an overseas Europe model from what I can tell. I'll be purchasing more Okumas to replace my other reels in the future. and I've been using the EB30 for the Bull Runs. they take alot of abuse.
