On my way to fish a local bridge I was jigging the flats with a CAL shadtail. On 6 casts (back to back) I snagged 6 pinfish... so I kept them just to see what using live bait was like. I used 2 and ended letting the rest go free.

Pinfish are one of my favorit live baits next to green backs,i have caught some very big reds and snook on pinfish,also trout.so pinfish is a very good bait!

How long did you have them in there, Mark? How did they handle the heat with no aeration?

 

Side note...I looked at a Pelican Castaway 116 DLX at Sports Authority today. The salesman tried to tell me that the dry storage hatch behind the seat was a livewell!!!  I just nodded and smiled, and tried REAL hard not to ROLL ON THE FLOOR!!!
