| - First post for me, it sure is a great site.
- Fished Charlotte Harbor, near Matlacha, in mid-July and had a real big fish wrap me in an unmarked crab pot. Fishing a drop off, 8 to 10' deep, with 3 to 4" white bait under a cork. Using a med/hvy rod with 25 lb braid and could not slow or turn the fish. I figure it may have been a shark, any other ideas?

| | Hi Hug. Welcome to the forum! I hope they were able to answer your question. I have no clue! LOL If anyone else has an inspired idea, it will probably pop up this week!
