Just got done with fishing Blind Pass and the causeway A span bridge and even though it was clody and cold the fish were biting pretty well. Out on blind pass on the jetty the ticket was was live shrimp rigged with a 1-2 oz weight to keep it on a slow drift on the botton for bonnet head sharks from 1 to about 3-4 feet. I was there for about 2 hours and landed 1 and saw about 10 others landed and a really big shark broken off on. By the bridge at Blind Pass there were good sheepshead and a few trout biting on shrimp with about 1 oz weight drifted by the pilings with a very light leader. At the causeway A span there were a few bonnet heads landed on shrimp with a weight and some nice sized sheepshead biting on shrimp and fidler crabs sent to the bottom. I managed to land me a nice one for dinner, about 15 inches and some other people caught a few bigger an smaller than mine. But once the tide slowed the bite shut off.
