I sure hope so,or I`ve been Breaking The Law for many years

I`m sure there are some area`s that close at night to all access, but those are usualy either Gated or Posted as such.......Like the North Side of Ft.Pierce Inlet, and I belive Canaveral National Seashores closes at night, but you see Big Signs before you ever see the beach

I like the Melbourne Beach, and Sebastian Inlet Beaches in the Summer and Fall for Snook.......Nice deep trouft`s right off the beach

Why Do you ask ?

It seems like all the parking lots have "close at time X"signs on them, and you can't fish from the beach at night at Jetty Park.I wondered if it was a county law and if all the beaches were supposed to be off liommits at night.

Thanks

I thought it was only the Rock Jetty you can`t fish at night there......Does it actualy say "NO BEACH FISHING At Night ?

I`m sure a search on FWC or FMP will shed some light on this.....or even Jetty Parks site

Checked FWC and Jetty Park.......Jetty Park`s site has nothing in it about Beach Access,at all.........FWC basicaly said that the Beach Area may have been Deeded to the Park, witch would allow them to limit access, but it has to be Posted as such..........So,if it`s Posted.....Stay Out

You might try to call Jetty Park, and ask to find out for sure

I'll give Jetty Park a call,I asked because I was wondering if I'm camped at JP can I walk off their property and fish from the beach at night south of "the park"? Or was it a local or even state law against fishing at night.

I don`t see any State Law that says you can`t Fish at night on a Beach, but County, and City still has a say in that also,so you`d have to check with them too,not worth the hassle.......just call J.P.

You`d think this would be a simple YES or NO type of question to get an answer to,but one thing I got out of all this, If it`s Posted.....Stay Out,way to many folks involved to fight
