Let me start off by saying..........BRRRRRRRRRRR,I`m so glad I didn`t Underdress

Got to the launch late this morning....8-ish,but found we had the whole NE Corner to ourselfs......NOBODY in sight . Wind was out of the SW,so we paddled out to the 5th Island from the east shore, and found the Flags a Flying
Many of them were Blacks in the 20lb range, but there was 1 that was pushing 50lbs that gave me at least 6 shot`s at it before I started looking for the Red Flags .....one pops up between me and Steve,he tossed a DOA Shrimp,I tossed a CAL......This one liked the CAL......

My First in the NMZ
The wind picked up,so we tucked in between the islands, and found this healthy Trout

Then the next cast found this Slot sitting on a corner

Then about 10:00am,the clouds rolled in,winds clocked around from the NE,and the fish shut down.....they were still tailing ,but every cast spooked em. They were still tailing when we left at Noon

Paddled into the wind both ways, but LOVED EVERY MINUTE

Guess I need to take up the Long Rod for those Blacks

It will grow on ya

I have had only one problem with it so far,I have to add a Bracket to my IF Code when posting Pics........Oh,and I couldn`t Download my Flash Player with Chrome, but Downloaded it with IE,and it works with Chrome now,so I can watch Videos

That NE Corner is Heaven On Earth for fishing, but there is alot out there to see.....VERY LARGE Structures Everywhere........VERY COOL ......in fact, this trip I was paddling away, checking out the VAB,and Steve said...."Hey,.....Tails ! " as I was saying "Where? ",I look next to me,and see 6,20lb Blacks swim under me.....done run all over em

But that is one area I will Blow-Off any plans,I would fish it in a Tropical Storm, and it doesn`t get Cold Enough to keep me away

Damn Cracker, every time you post you show us all some nice reds and trout. Sounds like you found yourself a nice honey hole for reds. I just got one question though...how in the world can ya leave tailing reds? Did it bring a tear to your eye to do that? We're ya biting on a piece of leather when ya paddled away? That had to be a hard thing to do knowing you. Talk at ya later.

Good report Cracker! I fish in the Indian and Banana rivers that i'm sure you are familiar with. Anyway, I have lately seen black drums like that on the flats in huge schools. It's pretty breathtaking, I have only seen it a couple of times though.

I hardly see them at all,but up in that NE Corner of the NMZ,I see them every trip, and they are VERY LARGE,but I never even get a second look with arties, one day I`ll get smart and stop for some Small Blue Crabs before I go up there

There is one up there that looks to be about 50lbs.
