My mistake, I guess it was capt Karl's rod one thing for sure is it is awsome!!  Cant wait to hang a big snook on it this year on the dock and put a spankin on him.  I will not be using 12lb mono again this year even though the wife and I both landed a few on it.  I just bought a penn captiva live liner 6000 for it and am going to spool it with 15lb power pro

I say we work two days and fish five!!!!

I have a series of specs I use for general builds if the client does not really know what they want or if it is a gift. These are proven designs and work well. A custom rod is just that, a signature of the owner's experience and ability to the fishery it will be in. The patterns if any are also unique,no two are ever the same unless they are in a set.  I kinda forget what they look like anyway, once they are delivered. If one does catch my eye,I'll take a photo for a possible future reference.

To those of you that have one of my rods,I'm glad you are enjoying them and catching a bunch!

Capt. Karl
