| Nice snook there Chum. I still can't believe you went in there to get em, at the marina, those pics would get you burned at the stake LOL. Good for you though, more people should get in there and shake up those old, crochety "yachtsmen", they think they own the world. Next year bring a lil hibachi, then catch, fillet, cook and eat em right there on the bow of your yak,.....smile, burp, and say mmmmm tasty then paddle off! LOL. Mike

| | Nobody on the boats said a thing, only the young guy that works there kinda mentioned "you know you're not supposed to fish inside the marina". We didn't see any "no fishing" signs posted, so we didn't know......but we did leave and moved on down the shoreline after he told us..... no biggie. Besides, I was playing the role of the "dumb tourist". If they don't want people fishing from the water, you would think they would post a sign at the entrance. chumhead

| | Hey Chum, I wouldn't worry at all. Most of those boats in there are visitors themselves and don't know what's up. Besides as far as anyone knows you could have been an owner of a yacht going out for a little exercise and catching dinner. Those big boats always carry some kind of tender craft for going ashore. It's the one idiot that's there year round that gets suspicous. There was a sign at the very end that said "no fishing inside the marina" but after the hurricanes destroyed the place, they aparently didn't include another one in the rebuild plans LOL. That place was so bad it made the centerfold of people magazine that year, full sized yachts tossed on top of eachother like bathtub toys, what a mess. Oh the fuel doc and the Tiki restaraunt there is open to the public, so if you need gas, or want to get gassed that's the place to go LOL. Actually the food there is great. If I could, I would go fish it myself just to see their reaction LOL. Gotta say though, you nabbed some nice snook! Great job! Mike
