| My New Year's resolution this year was to do more fly fishing. Looking at my schedule for the year, I may get to do more fly only trips than my usual spinning gear trips. Well, at least that will hold true until the Kingfish spring run and the summer Tarpon chase. So, at the moment I am pretty excited about getting the long rod out and I have been spending some time at the vise tying baits. Here is a shrimp pattern I have been playing with.

| I must say those shrimp are the bomb. I found the Trout like em and the flies also cast easy!

| One of the employee's at a local tackle shop I go to alot ties that pattern. He says they are snook killers. Once it warms up I'll have to try them out on snook in the lights. Don't know if I can make the switch from the trusty schimminow that has caught me so many though.
