how would u fish a DOA CAL jerk shad when rigged weedless with weight. and rigged with a jig head?

1/8th oz weedless eagle claw flutter hook, use a 3o or a 4o size hook.

1/8oz or 1/4oz jig heads are also a good choice.

tie them on with a loop knot and you'll get better action out of them.

you can fish it with a jig head or with a work hook weightless or with doa pinch weights know as belly dragger rig look on doa's site they show u how to rig all there baits also they have a great dvd or tape on how to fish their lures.

You can do a steady retrieve or a twitching retrieve. Both work well for reds, trout, and snook.

slowy reel in twich, slowly reel twitch, repeat

the twich (or jerk) is what gives the lure it's action, as long as the jerk bait isn't spinning you'll catch fish

my favorite jerk bait is the redfish magic zulu in space guppy color

and I like to fish them on a flutter hook
