| There is one thing that any Angler with any time under thier belt will tell ya about winter fishing,no matter if it is Fresh or Salt, that is you need to slow your Presentation down dramatically............the colder water will slow the fishes movements,so you need to slow things down to keep you lure in front of the fish longer, giving it plenty of time to think about it. Sometimes Live Bait is the only thing that they will even look at,so keeping a few on hand can never hurt Cold Front`s : This time of year the Cold-Front`s can realy shut the fishing off,and no matter what you do,or what you present to them, they just shut off.......you can see them, you know they are there, but they just refuse to eat until the pressures drop again......so keep an eye on the Barometric Pressures, catch it just before the front gets to ya,or several day`s after it passes Pinfish around Bridges,Shrimp around Mangroves and Dock`s Good luck Mike

| when fishing in cold weather, slow down the retrieve of your lure. the cold water slows the fish down dramatically. when ever it is warm one day, and a cold front comes, it will be harder for the fish to bite. even when using live bait.
