| | Anyone have a clue what I`ve got here,very few markings other than on the butt..........8153 R , FIE Italy.........It`s a Black Powder,Revolver Barrel : .435" I.D. ,Rifeled,not a smooth bore Wheel : .445" I.D. Any Clue ?

| | Hmmmm, well I can't really be 100% sure but if I'm not mistaken, based on the length of the barrel and that fact that it's rifled, I'd have to say that I believe it's,......a gun. LOL, sorry I couldn't resist. Seriously I don't know but It really looks sweet. Is it odd for a powder gun to have a rifled barrel? It may be a replica of an older gun, but it could just as easily be the real deal. I'm sure someone can tell. Let me know what you find out, I'm curious to know too. Tell Rena we said Hi, take care. | | I went over to : www.pistolworld.com They assured me it was a Rep. of the Remington model 1858 Army/Navy Revlover, .44 cal Way to big for Rena ,but was thinking about getting a nice Glass-Top Case,Powder,Slug`s,and Porcussion Cap`s,then do an Ingraving for the front of the Case with all the Info on the Set  I will have to Heat this baby up at least once
