I fished down there a year ago before Katrina. I was planning on doing a cast and blast trip this December with some friends of mine. So the lodge and everything is back to normal again? I guess you guys will do an episode about it, so I'll watch your e-mails for more info.

Oh, and how was the redfishing? Any mogans?

Thanks

Sorry it took a while to get back to you....just got back from another road trip and had no access to the web.

To answer your question....YES!!!! They are back, up and running. We did a show from there a couple of weeks ago and the fishing was awesome! Ryan, (owner / operator) said it's the best fishing he's ever seen.

Book early tho.... he's the only lodge I know of that is back running again.

Not a problem! Thanks for the reply. I figured it would take you awhile, since I know there are redfish tournaments and you're filming new episodes.

Anyhow, I'm glad his lodge stayed intact. I don't think you can beat the red and trout fishing in and around Venice/Buras, LA.

Thanks and take care
