10 buck reprint fee is well worth it compared to a $65.00 ticket like I got from a rookie FWC officer waiting at the ramps one day

FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA per FWC website:

A fishing or hunting license is required to be with you when you are engaged in the licensed activity.

To replace a lost or stolen license you must buy a replacement license. Replacement licenses cost $2 ($10 for a lifetime license) for each licensed activity. The Fish and Wildlife Commission can not give you a "copy " of a lost license.

Replacement fishing and hunting licenses are available at any location that sells hunting and fishing licenses, on the Internet at https://www1.wildlifelicense.com/fl/, by phone at 1-888-486-8356, or at any County Tax Collector’s Office and most sporting goods or bait and tackle retailer locations.

You can find contact information for your county tax collector at http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/property/taxcollectors.html.

When you purchase a fishing or hunting license thru the Internet or by phone, you will be given a temporary license number within minutes, enabling you to hunt (in season) or fish right away. Your permanent license will be mailed within 48 hours and will arrive in 7 to 10 days. The temporary license number is only good for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Cracker,

Your license should be able to be replaced using your customer # as a reference which is printed on the original license and should also be in the FWC database.

Just make sure you get it replaced...... don't get caught fishing or hunting without one, as it can cost you!

Tight Lines,

KT

Thanks for all the Info, guess I`ll go to Wally World near the house here where I always go to get them, and see if they can pull it up.....if not I`ll just get a new one......I belive they use your Driver`s License # now.

Only been busted once for no license, back when I was 18yo..........Dad tore em up all day,I caught nothing ,at the end of the day I finaly caught a Mogan Bass, just as the Game Warden comes around the bend,he sat and watched, then asked for........well, you know the rest

I plan to fish Port Canaveral this weekend,so everything must be in order, because you WILL BE CHECKED
