| As a kid, when i would go up to my grandfathers house in the summer, i would have the best luck from 6 ft to shallow water, When the water is real muddy like tea color water and maybe from 6-3 ft in depth i like using topwater baits like a zara spook or something more noisier like a skitter walk in the mullet pattern or a chugger also works well, when the water is a little deeper and hotter and fish are more agitated i like to work maybe a gold spoon but what i find that works better is a split tail fluke on a jig head and that worked real slow on the bottom seems to have a fish catching success in my experiences. Anything else just send me a message. Goodluck and tightlines.
