im looking for a new cast net wich size is better i want to beableto get the small one and the big ones 1/4 or 3/8?

I use a 10' 1/4" mesh net. It works for the flats and deeper water around markers and bridges.

A 3/8 net will sink faster but will get a lot of gilled baits when your going for the smaller ones.

IMHO this is a good multi purpose net.

I use a Lee Fisher Bait Buster net.
