| I get out surf fishing about once a month and mostly throw jigs, and spoons. For the most part i catch trout, jacks, and blues but i don't remember ever catching pompano. I was wondering what ya all use and your favorite ways to catch pompano ??? By the way, I know that the gulp baits work but never hear about anyone using the gulp sand fleas. That being said does anyone use the gulp sand fleas to catch pomps ???
Thanks |

| Toss out pompano rigs with sand fleas, cut clam, live shrimp, and peeled shrimp. The weight that you will use depends on how the waves and current are. You'll get whiting, pomps, and trout with this set up.

| a chicken rig with live shrimp med the sinker represents a crab diving in the sand so if you catch one like that cast in the same place cause they tend to travel in school with jacks and whiting.
