what's better fuji guides or metal guides?  I mainly use braided line, but I also have some rods set up with mono.

correct me if i am wrong but i am almost sure fuji is just the name brand,i think all of there guides are some type of metal, just different incerts such as SIC,or alconite.

Flatsangler is right,

Fuji guides are just guides made by Fuji, but they are in my opinion the BEST guides you can ever use regardless of the type of line you use.
