| | Well I had a blast! That says it all but I will expand on that just a little. I got down there Sat morning around 6:15am and just about everybody was already out fishing. I took the canoe (with the trolling motor) and headed south. By mid morning I had one 26" trout, one 24" trout, one 12-14" jack and a lady fish in the boat. I was bound and determined to fish around the bridge so I cranked the motor up and headed further south. I fished around the bridge and ended up catching one 18" spanish mackerel. Around 1:30is I headed back to watch the others coming in. It sure sounds like we had a variety of fish caught (I'll let them post their stories) and from the photos, there were some big snook landed/ One big one was caught by a lady but again I'll let her tell the story. And if you were wondering, NO I didn't enter the tournament so I didn't win a trophy I did get to meet a few new forum members and spent a lot of time talking with the old crew. Joe |

| | Terri, Remember the first Mogan Mania? This one was about the same with a smaller group, great snook fishing and the food was off the chart, world class great!!!! We had a great time and seeing both the veterans and new crew at RPC along with a few hounds made the weekend one for the scrapbook big time. Missed you guys. BTW, Cracker was the pain killer capt this time and what I was told did a good job with them.

| | Still here in Ft. Pierce at Mike and Jama's, I will post my pics later this week after I get back home. I don't have any pics of me holding a snook this year, after being taken to school by the snook at the jetty, I guess it was only fitting that I would win tuition to Blair's fishing academy at the raffle! Heading out in a little while in an attempt to harrass more snook....gotta go get ready (Mike already has his tackle box out and is sitting on the floor like a little kid on Christmas morning)

| As always,Mogan Mania Spanked my little behind, but left me with a Mogan Smile Lots of New Faces this year, and it was my pleasure to meet each of you. I hope yall enjoied it as much as we did,and plan to join us again next year. Fishing was awsome this year, the Snook was stacked up at the Inlet, and they were as mean as ever, even though I didn`t get the pleasure of tugging on one of those Mogan`s,I did get to see several caught nearby, and there were some awsome Tug-O-Wars going on..........and when I looked over and seen Trice with two fists fulls of Bent Rod,I had to stop fishing and watch with a smile,.....but when she reached down and put the Death Grip on that Mogan, and hauled her over the side like a Pro......I must say I was VERY IMPRESSED The Mogan Maidans sure put on a show this year, they sure put a hurt`n on the Guys but we`re kinda getting use to that by now ......but I`m glad to see the ladies realy get into the Fishing Side of this event.....It`s cool to see thier faces light-up when they start talking about thier day of fishing, and realy, that is worth more to me,than any fish I could ever catch myself....Don`t get me wrong,I love catching fish, but to see someone new to the Fishing Game, bubbling over with the Sweet Love that I felt when I first got into this Saltwater Game,it takes me back to my first Redfish,a place in time that I`ll never forget, but a place that I can only return to when I talk to someone that is there Now Food was Awsome this year,so many great dishes that my gut hurt for hour`s .......The Jambalya was the bomb, best I`ve ever eaten.......Tommygunn`s Rib`s Lip-Smacking good,I wanted more, but I was so full that I was going to bust if I ate another one . One thing is for sure......We don`t go hungry at Mogan Mania RPC : Big Thanks to Rufus for keeping the place so Macked Out for us,anything we ever need,he has already thought of it,and has it there for us I like the new stereo in the Chickee Hut,it was the only thing that Hut needed to be perfect I felt realy bad for Rufus this year, you can see that the Theft`s that occured on the Property realy bugged him,and I hope he knows, that we know, he does all he can to keep us,and our property safe while we`re there, but with the Rat-Hole next door, there are only so many rat`s you can keep out without 24 hour Armed Gaurds, and I know Rufus would Bulldoze the place next door down to the ground if he could. We plan to call Rufus in a few days, and thank him for another wonderful time at his place......and I hope yall do too Thanks Everyone for making this Mogan Mania the best weekend of the year for us |
