Headed out of Scottmoor landing around 7 a.m. A few good schools on east side. No takers on top water. Moved and saw plenty of singles. After no takers on spoons, gulps and soft jerkbaits we switched to cut ladyfish. Finally caught the 22 incher in about 1 1/2 feet of water around 10 a.m. Day was overcast with some sun punching through now and again. Starting poling the shoreline and went back to artificials. Second 24 incher came on 3" pearl white Gulp shrimp with flutter hook weedless. Ended the day early around 11 a.m. or so. Oh yeah, can't forget to mention the kitty cats, caught 4 I think. Everyone loves ladyfish!

Pure glass for most of the morning

when your using the cut bait, are you anchored up just waiting for somthing, or are you sightcasting at fish?

Hey Nick, we do both.  Mainly sitting and waiting.  We will pole through an area and if we start seeing/spooking any reds then we will anchor up and throw out lines.  Sometimes we will pole and if we come across any we will through some cut bait near an area of activity and throw artificials at the same time.
