alright got my camera and a adaptor.  i've done alot of work to my little boat. the casting platform was made a month ago, still not painted tho. the tape is so when i remove the platform it does not scratch the paint. it all was made in 2 nights, 3 pieces of 3/4 inch conduit, and a lil math. the top platform is very big and nice. the unpainted wood on it is because the sides are slanted and i didn't want to do even more of fancy bends. the conduit going to the transom keeps it from shifting foward and back. its all bolted together, no welds. held on by pipe clamps. cheap good way of building a platform. not bad for a 16 year old with no help from his dad. lol, and to bend the pipes, all u need is a pipe bender that costs 15$. i just repainted all my boat, but the power plant scum has not been scrubbed off yet and the inside only has one coat till i buy more paint. hope this inspires ya'll.

Hey, by the way, thanks for posting those pics. Looks pretty good, I like all those rocket launchers sticking up like that, they make it look like a hot rod engine back there and they are exhaust pipes LOL.

Good job!

hahaha, its nice having those holders so high, so when i take the chop the reels don't get completely soaked and ruined, plus while poling u can ur personal preference for where u like u rod at for sighting the reds. its amazing how at even night how useful a platform is. u see a few snook under a light, then get up there and i see 40-50 slots and over. lol

Good thinking about the advantage while night fishing, and It would suck to see the fish, then have to jump down and grab your rod (without landing on it lol) and risk losing sight of them. Good job, get some pics of fish now LOL.

oh, i got them fish pics!! lol, i caught more over slot reds over the summer then in slot, i think i got 4 in slot ones and 15 over slot. i find they are easier to get. lol, but this year has been hard on me for fishing, i have gone out like 20 times in the past 2 months, not one red or snook, i just don't have the luck, im losing it. last snook was in april. but im still happy. lol, all my records beat ron's lol, but barely. my goal. lol

A buddy of mine built a wooden deck on his jonboat and then added a ...... tool stand I think. Not like a sawhorse but just a removable platform made from steel, with a wooden top. You could find one at Lowes for about $40.

Sorry I have been outta the loop around here lately , I gave that poling platform to a friend who was wanting it for his sea nymph awhile back , it didnt fit my boat either and I didnt want to have it cut up to make a casting platform for the front deck.

I will check with him and see if he ever used it , ir still has it and if I can get it back I will let you know !
