| what can i do early and late in the day to catch snook in the back of boat canals were there are no sea walls just mangroves and structure in the water im some times see tarpon and snook in there but i cant seem to catch them any ideas or solutions to get me more success brother in fishing

| I'm no expert but have had success by starting with good sized white bait, throwing out some chummers and see where they're popping. If they're hitting the chummers they'll hit your bait as well and if not... keep going along the mangroves looking for pockets and overhangs.

| bro time and time again i have seen most luck early and late in the day like you are talking about in the mangroves for snook either a doa glow shrimp or a light colored jerk bait. lunker sauce is a must you will tear em up

| Try throwing a topwater along the side of the mangroves and seawalls,it never fails for me in the A.M! Also try a 19mr but work it slow,from what iv seen,the snook in canals tend to be a bit lazy.

| | I'd try to catch them later on in the day, like maybe right before dark and at night, because that's when they feed. To catchm' I'd throw on a mirr-o-dine and twitch every once in a while. At night you want to use something that will send out a lot of vibrations 'cause snook feed with their lateral line at night. KIT. |

| i would say a live pinfish, early in the mornin or at night. they can sense the moving bait. even reds will find bait at night like that. the tarpon can be night feeders too. if the tarpon r picky, catch a baby ladyfish. good bait.

| | I would try a Skitter Walk for the TOP and Red Tail Hawk Lure if they are deep! Walk the dog on the Skitter Walk and fish the Red Tail Hawk Jig with a steady retrieve. |
