| | I'm transitioning from live bait to artificials, and I'm wanting to know how to use the DOA shrimp effectively. Which colors are for what situation, and what is the best method to fish them? Thanks! |

| | Color: Dark in dark/stained water and light/natural in clear water. Tech: Work them as slow as possible with a twitch to pop them off the bottom and out of the grass, like a shrimp that is fleeing. Rigging: You can use them straight out of the package pre-rigged or with a circle hook threw the tail or the nose. I also have used them weedless, it seems to work good for a slow drop under the mangroves.

| | i fish in stained water alot i like the gold glitter, holographic, rootbeer and glow colorsin 3 and 4 inch shrimp i also like the the 1/4 oz terrorize in those colors with red eyes when the water is moving and there is current i like to put both lures under a popping cork to cast further and let the tide bring it back it works well also try the cal lures in shallow water the glow, rootbeer, mullet and eletric chicken pink and green color work really well as well i add carolina lunker sauce and a worm rattle to the shrimp and cals when i dont get bites it as some extra to the lures in dark water. also there is a new lure by livingston lures it is a croker hard bait and it is at walmart for about 6.50 it makes a croaking sound and it will catch large trout, snook and tarpon i like to put some mullet or menhaden lunker gel for hard baits |

| | thanks!, would I be better off with the terror eyez or tyopwater plugs for night time snook fishing around bridges with a moving current. I've always used live live jumbo shrimp to kill 'em, because that seems to be what they are popping, but I know you can't slow retrieve a DOA shrimp in those conditions. That is why I was curious about the terror eyez and the topwaters. |

| | sometimes i like to use a unweighted 3" shrimp in nearclear, gold glitter, holographic or glow the terrorize sinks so fast i dont use it in really shallow you need at least about 4 foot of water unless you are use the very tiny one with an 1/8 head or 1/16 oz head i still like using an unweighted shrimp and movie it as slow as death just twitch it and let it sink slowly sometimes the fish with just follow it up and down and pop it with their tails and then they will finally bite. |

| | The glow shrimp works well in the mangroves and around docks, the gold glitter works on grass flats, and the avocado red glitter works well in dark, murky water. They should be twitched off of the bottom, and can be work like bass worms |
