| | Hi i'm am pretty much a newbie and would like to know if anyone has any experience with the quantum cabo reels. Can they compare to the Ahabs, stradics and sustains? |

| Really good product, can't go work with a Cabo if you have the $$$. Also like the Daiwa SOL in that price category.

| | i have a cabo 20, 30, 40 and 80 with a cabo 8 foot medium light rod and the other rods are cabelas salt striker ti rods with recoil guides love my set ups cast well and the the rods are very senstive with braided line i use stren microfuse line in 10 and 30 pound test. Also for the price the boca and cataylist reels are great too i have a 10, and 20 cataylist and for 100 bucks i think there better than the 300 hundred dollar shimano sustain i had i had it for a year and i sold it so i could buy two cabo reels on ebay i think quantum and van staal reels and for baitcasters i have a quantum energy saltwater burner on a saltstriker rod medium heavy rod the rod is a lighter action medium heavy 8-15 pound test 1/8 to 5/8 oz it is a nice setup for topwaters and heavier lures i like it to cover lots of water fast with a 7.01 gear setting. |

I'm happy i made the choice of the Cabo over the stradic. Still waiting for it to arrive. Where can i get an extra spool for the cabo 40? |

| I have a pair of cabo PT 60s spooled with #50 power pro that i use personaly and for my charters. They have performed just as quantum said they would through 4 seasons! I beleive them to be a good value for a "mid high end reel" |
