| | Thanks for all the friendly welcomes guys. As far as a fishing time line for me, it all started when my buddy took me to a little pond and taught me how to catch bass. I was hooked after i caught that first 2pder. That led up to me buying my first rod and reel, which I lost one day to a drum at haulover. Set it down for a sec, and it was gone...lol ...That then gave me an excuse to move up from my lost Sedona to a much nicer Stradic. I continued to go back to haulover to try and get my first redfish, which I still haven't caught... when i wasnt working, I was usually out wading somewhere and had caughten about 15 snook before i caught my first redfish. rofl. it's usually the opposite for most people...Primarily I used all arties while wading, leaning more towards hard baits then a soft plastic. As I try to fit fishing in with work and school, and especially since i just learned how to fish Sebastian inlet, I've been spending a lot of time fightin the crowds on the North Jetty. Since I don't have much time to fish alot, I'de rather go somewhere that I know produces. I like using Pins and handpicks if i can find them, and buck-tails as a last resort. Blah, enough about me though. Are a lot of you guys inshore or offshore guys? |
