I need some suggestions on mono line in the 8-10 # test range. I use P.P. most of the time but wanted to try some mono again.I would like to stay with the brands at the local walmart because dicks sporting goods and bass pro are about 70 miles away. Any suggestions would be appriciated. Thanks.

Andes

I fish North IRL,and South Skeeter Lagoon,.....Mono Only......10lb, Most of the time with No Leader, but 12lb Mono if I do use a leader.

Stay away from Cheap Wally World Brand Mono, you`ll be respooling every other trip and any light realy weakens it to the point of it being useless

Andes has more World Record`s than any other Mono, and it`s not that much more money than the cheap stuff

I prefer Pink

if you want to spend money for good line berkly vanish is a winner but for a cheep line try stren. I am pretty sure you can find both of those at your local ace hardware store.
