Hi guys and gals,

I am just now returning to the intercoastal side as surf fishing was successful with tons of pompano and some reds. I wade in the grass flats, due to no boat, and i have used both baits before and caught fish off of. I have been using the spinnerbaits for years now and i just started using the mirrodine and caught some trout and a little grouper. I was wondering what do yall suggest i use more the spinnerbait or the mirrodine? Remember i wade fish in the grass with tons of it everywhere, just wanted to get yalls opinions?

I would say go ahead and stay with the mirrodine because it's going to catch you more fish and different types of fish like snook, redfish, trout jacks and pretty much of the fish that live on the flats.tight lines and good fishin!

Thanks guys for the info. I think i will stay with the mirrodine its easier to pull threw the water than spinnerbaits. I dont think that we get to many snook up this way but maybe once in a blue moon i will catch one, its my dream to catch a snook. Anyways i have already caught trout, a little GAG GROUPER in the flats wading!!! I also caught a small red about 12inchs long, hope to catch a 18-27in red. Do the redfish like the mirrodine? Thanks guys

Its kinda hard to compair those two baits. They both working in totaly different way and in different types of water, but if I only had those two baits on the boat I would tie on the Mirrodine.

Mirro-dyne is a great lure, but if you are fishing in lost of grass it will catch it all.... after severl dozen cast pulling off weeds I'd switch to the magic or something else, also depends on depth.
